1. Ascal's full name is a mix of two Philippine heroes. Ascal Alexandrovich Ascalsky y Alonso Realonda Gatmaitan from Jose Protacio Mercado Rizal y Alonso Realonda and Marcelo Hilario del Pilar y Gatmaitan.
2. Ascal is a lawyer. He finished Administrative Law and Constitutional Law.
3. He was named after the street dogs in the Philippines, commonly called askals.
